DENVER BRONCOS LIKE TO CUT BLOCK

So...did you see Igor Olshansky throw that punch at Tom Nalen at last week's Denver Broncos/San Diego Chargers game? Yeah, Nalen went for a cut block at Olshansky's ankles, obviously angering Olshansky enough to retaliate. Who can blame him? I'm sure they'll be talking about cut blocks some more at the NFL meetings this next year.

Broncos Bumped Up to Prime Time

That doesn't mean we can't start the tailgate parties in the afternoon though. The change is just part of the tv broadcasters' plan to pick out the games the most people want to see, based on how the season has been going. Yeah, I think lots of football junkies will be tuned in to this one, as the Broncos play not-very-nice hosts to the San Diego Chargers and break the tie between us for top spot in the AFC West.

If you've been lucky enough to score tickets for this one, remember to allow for the time change with an extra six-pack and/or thermos of hot chocolate.

Grant us a touchdown, for we have sinned

Okay, this made me laugh.

"Dozens of former Denver Bronco players joined the Sisters at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Sunday for a tailgate party. The nuns are huge Broncos fans and host a Broncos tailgate party every year. ...

The nuns were decked out in their team regalia as they cheered on the Denver Broncos playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some 40 former players planned to attend the tailgate party including Larron Jackson, Steve Sewell, Mike Harden and Mark Jackson."

Where exactly does Broncos team regalia fit into a nun's closet of habits? My only regret is that the story didn't include any photos.
